Rhody Fly Rodders



Next meeting is November 15th at Riverside Sportsman Club, East Providence, RI. We start the meeting at 6:30 pm with fly tying, bring your tying equipment and tie with members. 7:45 pm we start the business part of the meeting. We are having nominations for president and vice president for 2012. December meeting we will have elections.






Presenter our own Gene Matteson, a slide show on Tarpon and the late Armand Lamontange, the artist who carved a life size statue of Ted Williams. The statue is Ted as the salmon fly fisher.






Coffee and cookies available as a donation. Beer and alcohol for sale at the bar. Bucket raffles, door prize. For a wonderful night we hope to see you there.

Welcome to the oldest salt water fly fishing club



Rhody Fly Rodders is the oldest salt water fly fishing club in America. Founded in the home of Al Brewster, Riverside, RI in 1963. Left to right, Harold Gibbs, originator of the Gibbs Striper Fly, visiting author and trout fisherman Art Flick from NY, Al Brewster, famous fly tyer for Orvis Company, fly designer. Both Harold and Al were the founders of Rhody Fly Rodders.
